Community Kitchen Workshops
Community Kitchen Workshops
From October to April, we offer Community Kitchens and Food Workshops as part of our food security programming. These sessions provide a warm, welcoming space where residents can learn how to access affordable, healthy foods, explore new ingredients, and understand the role of nutrition in family health.
The program fosters community connection—welcoming newcomers, refugees, and Canadian citizens who may feel isolated. Together, we cook meals from scratch, share cultural dishes and enjoy meals as a group.
We offer a variety of programs, including Our Community Kitchens, a 4–5 week series where participants prepare and try new foods, and Food Workshops, single-session classes covering topics like healthy, low-cost meals and cooking for kids.
All the food and resources are provided by us. We are excited for you to join our workshops where food, education and fun are the only things on the menu.
All upcoming workshops and activities are included on our organization calendar. You can also sign up for notices through our email system below.
